Devon Fish & Game Gun Club

Devon Fish & Game Gun Club holds general meetings at 7:30 p.m on the fourth Wednesday of September, October, November and December at the Pioneer '73 Seniors Club. And an annual meeting on the 4th Thursday of January.

Resolutions and Elections Business - Held 4th Thursday of February, April, September and November Annual Wild Game Banquet & Trophy Night - Scheduled the 1st Saturday of March. Appetizers, Silent Auction, Wild Game Banquet, DJ Dance and Door Prizes. Trout Pond - Jim Nelson Memorial Trout Pond (located at the corner of Highway 60 and Twp Road 500) - Open to the public (fishing license required). Club stocks pond annually with trout. Shooting Range - The Club has a lease agreement at the Genesee Range. Club and range membership required. Trap Shooting - The Club hosts eight events each year at the Edmonton Gun Range (located on Highway 19 near airport). Four are Club Shoots (members with invited guests) and four are Prize Shoots (open to general public). Archery - Archery events are held the same day as trap shotting events. The Club owns six re-curve bows that youth are welcome to use under adult supervision. Hunter Training & Canadian Firearms Safety Courses - Complete course or challenge tests. Restricted or non-restricted courses offered periodically.
